A glittering draw show starred by some of the greatest names of the game and the entertainment industry defined the groups and initial fixtures of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. While 29 teams can now imagine their journey to the final, the remaining eight will fight for the last three spots at the playoffs in June.
Group A – Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands
Group B – England, Iran, USA, Winner of European play-off*
Group C – Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland
Group D – France, Denmark, Tunisia, Winner of Inter-Continental Playoff 1**
Group E – Spain, Germany, Japan, Winner of Inter-Continental Playoff 2**
Group F – Belgium, Ghana, Croatia, Morocco,
Group G – Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
Group H – Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea
